Aix is a laid back town where leafy boulevards and public squares
are lined with 17th- and 18th-century mansions, boulevards
of Cours Mirabeau laced with cafes, narrow lanes with designer boutiques and
fountains that ornament the streets of this Provence.
Take a
lazy stroll down the narrow streets of Aix with a pizza slice , sip a coffee
and have a gelato.
Recommendation:
Try a dark chocolate flavour at We Love
Puro and a pizza slice from Pizza Capri.
Aix-en-Provence is well-served by high-speed TGV
trains from Gare de Lyon in Paris. Multiple trains make the three-hour journey
daily.
